White wall Tires for C-Bodies

You put a lesser rated tire on your wifes car?

Nothing "sporty" about a focus.....

There was a more performance version in 2004 as you would learn when you hit a 30mph curve at 60 in the car. After that year they softened the handling and eliminated the more powerful engine.

As for her tires they were lesser rated by me but you didn't inquire as to what basis I rate the tires. My car is two factors only handling and dry traction with everything else secondary. Her car is dry traction, wet traction and handling with the wet removing my top four tires from consideration immediately. So yes, she did get the safer tires for her "type" of driving in a Sable wagon with my son. If I wanted a slightly less sticky tire that had better wet traction then the Altimax would be right up there. In dry California not important to me. I can say that the Altimax handles pretty good for her size car especially after I replaced the entire front suspension on the Sable over the weekend.

I finally have road wheels on the NYB. I still have some work to do before I can post pictures. I forgot the chrome lug nuts so I'll take it the Army base and swap them out and put the skirts back on Thursday. It's been raining pretty hard all day here today and it's suppose to rain tomorrow too.

Here we go, some basic pictures of the NYB with the road wheels an NYB shocks. I'll take some better pictures tomorrow.

How many people drive though and think "look at that old Chrysler, I bet a little old lady owns it".

The old lady was telling her girlfriend that she got banged repeatedly in the back seat of that car 35 years ago!!!
