Wollfen's 1971 Sport Fury GT !

Yah there are a few RWL tires on the market and i believe that a Goodyear Polyglas would be the ideal tire for originality, or at least as close as possible. If H70 tires were made it would be no contest.
looking good, Gary. I vote RWL too...

Done some more work, here is a picture of my new brake flare tool, it works wonders! Very pretty new brake lines and the tool is so easy to use!

I have also been priming some parts too, plus I welded in the first chassis rail today. I hope to have the other one done tomorrow, stay tuned.

The one critical question for me is... can it be used on the car? I have taken cars apart to install premade lines and I have just made the line in place as I went... when stuff is in the way, make as you go is valuable.

I think I understand what you re saying, and no you couldn't use it while laying under the car. The tool is held in a vise. What I did is remove the old brake line from the car and copy it while it was sitting on the bench.

Sorry, if i was unclear... neat tool and sounds great for bench made replacements. There have been situations where it was much easier to partially bend the lines (like trans cooler lines) install them and then complete... I wouldn't discard my old flaring tools. nice as your new one is.

Second chassis rail is now fully welded in and I can say all the hard grunt stuff is done now, phew, I'm glad of that, I also replaced the bottom edge sheet metal of the rear as well. Now I will finish the floor off and paint it, Once that's done I have a gallon of body deadener that i will spray the underneath with.

Thanks Stan, its nice to know that people see whats happening and can appreciate the amount of effort us car nuts put into these cars.

Okay, been cleaning out the rest of the chassis boxing in the car, look at all this crap, I didn't find any nesting material at all, but loads of eaten oak tree seeds, what animal does this?

I also made some new patches for the rear, I wasn't happy with the green ones, all welded in and ground back now. Plus I also did the entire floor of the trunk with rust converter, its white as the product goes to work, it will be black when it finishes reacting. Tomorrow I plan on finishing the cleanup of the trunk floor and hopefully priming it.

Must have been tiny *** squirrels to get in and out of those 1in diameter holes
A gray squirrel can squeeze through a hole the size of a quarter.

I had a RV that squirrels got into over a winter and they destroyed it.
