Lol, I have been working hard hoping everything comes together to take it to Carlisle, funny how having a goal gets things done eh?Don't ever let me get away with saying you airplane guys can't survive on flat rate... You sir are kicking ***. I am looking forward to seeing (at least in pictures) this one on the road again as much as I am Critter's beauty. For a car I didn't even know existed a year ago... I have become a big fan.
I will have to ask the man what he used in it, I am curious myself now.Sometimes Earl uses 20/50 Valvoline earl. . .
I knew an Earl back in Aus, big mopar fan, but his wife's name, no not Ethyl.Earl and Ethyl...

Im not worried about my cars. The neighbor's cat sleeps on the roof of my cars...

Yup partial overspray on the fitted fuel pump just like they did at the factory. The part that I did miss is fitting the negative earth cable first before spraying, oopsAhem... the fuel pump..

I'm still learning.Yup partial overspray on the fitted fuel pump just like they did at the factory
Yes I contemplated it but I hate the rusted look so I am going to paint them in cast Iron grey.If yer really going for the correct factory procedure, the exhaust manifolds should be on the engine and painted too. But I could never get used to that. . .
I forget lots of stuff too and then, get to relearn them! Like watching the same movie over and over again and being delighted again each time like the first time.I'm still learning.
And that is a good thing.

Yup, using exhaust manifold paint. Good for 2000 degrees so it says.Good idea ... that is a much better look than rust which is what the factory ones looked like when the paint burnt off.
Use a good high temp paint
