Wollfen's 1971 Sport Fury GT !

Lots of chassis pics, I am putting them here for reference for me and anyone else who might be able to use them.

If anyone has one of these chassis laying around they want to see gone, let me know. :p

Wait, you want to replace the stub?
Yup, about 5 ft of the bottom of the left had side of the chassis is rotted away, couple less feet on the right hand side but finding another one would be far easier than all the repairs this one needs. I'm sure the rest of it is thinner too, it had a lot of crud packed inside it.

I have a solid one with a slight kink, love to find it a home instead of scrap but it's from a '70 vert and a 300, 2 strikes....

It's repairable, you can see the kink in the upper center of this picture. It would need some mods, namely the extensions past the trans cross member, and the torsion bar extended tubes would need to be removed. The rails are solid, just surface stuff. It's a shame, finding one in the northeast that's not completely rusted through is impossible.

Okay I see what you mean, I would pass on this, I already have two other chassis like this one, one out of a Chrysler Newport and one out of a 1970 Plymouth Fury Convertible. Also note that the forward mounts are at a different height to the later frame to compensate for the thickness of the rubber isolators. I may have to take a three hour drive to buy a car I know is available, Just haven't eyeballed it yet so I don't know the condition of the chassis.

Right, the isolators, and that would be strike three!

Frame is stripped and tomorrow I will turn it over to take pics of just how bad this thing is, then I will tell you guys later about why I am somewhat pissed.

Check this out, imagine hitting a big pothole on the highway, imagine what might have happened!

All I did was pop the top ball joint off and the spindle fell off!
