Still at it

Today in his 80's. Still racing. I was at the 2008 Daytona 500 & speed weeks. James enters his Car in the 125 qualifying race. And was running good, but didn't make the cut as the car faded late in the race. The crowd was behind him. One of the few times I cheer for a chebbie

Wow that was awesome!! Thanks for sharing. Did you notice how nervous the guy was driving. That's the way I was driving that Cuda last week. So damn much power you feel like one slip & you going to smack the wall with an expensive race car

yea i would be nervous to, hell i am nervous just driving my friends Kia soul let alone a 600 HP Nascar lol. To get to ride along is Such a piece of history with So much power is beyond words for me.

Kyle here with Leonard Wood of the Wood Brothers. Owners of the #21 Purolater Mercury. This car was driven by David Pearson back in 1971 & was one of Richards strongest rivals.

Here he is racing AJ Foyt in the 50 & Gordon Johncock in the 28. Both are Indy car starts at the time
 
Dodges last win

1977 Ontario Speedway in California. Neil Bonnette here driving the J D Stacy owned #5 Charger. Scored his second win & Dodges last Untill they returned to the sport in 2001. This was the old #71 red K&K insurance team. That was near collapse due sponsorship woes.

1971 Western 500

At Riverside, California. The Wing cars had been outlawed so the Mopar teams had to go back to 70's short track cars for this race. Bobby Allison in the #12 Charger leads Richard Petty in the #43 Road Runner who's leading what looks to be Charlie Glotzback in the #99 Charger as they lap a Chevelle
