found these on the computer I am currently at and can share them with you.
It is an N-code 383 HP car

Saw it in Rättvik sweden summer 2012

A helpful Mopar enthusisat from Finland gave me the info that I am wrong.
The VIN of the red car (liscense plate CEF368) is DL27L0D127257
It is not an N-code car.

I have seen an N-Code car but it must have been another one then

I don't get it. Right next to the price in the ad is the Hagerty Value guide. Even in number one condition it's only $18,000. Are they confident they have the right asking price or is this a situation where they really don't want to sell, but are being forced to?

No, not forced to sell. Its been there 30 years. The dad after all this time wants it gone. I don't get it either and they were serious, straight face.

She had asked me what I would sell mine for. I said I wouldn't, she said see...its that valuable.

There was no getting through on the actual value. Time will have to be the informant

I'm amazed that they think it's worth that much after talking to you.

I think you handled it well Dave .. no need to be the one to insult them. Since they are asking that price a dose of reality would almost certainly have insulted them no matter how you put it to them

No need for that is right. They were nice enough people ....and I got some documentation and a nice ride out of it.

Did they start the car while you were there or is not a running car since it's been sitting so long?

So....they don't even know if the engine is seized up?

Nope....... That's OK. ... If I was buying that car I would want them to leave it in the as in state.
However, IF they were to invest a little time and money the car would be a looker and a very nice driver. Which they may have to do because they talked about the car going to auction. If that's the case that's where they'll get their education.

You wouldn't put it in running condition if you had it?

I doubt any major auction would take it with a reserve any where near 1/2 or even a 1/3rd of 6 figures .. complete waste of everyone's time

I believe that the owners need a blast of cold hard reality based on Dave's report before they actually land back on earth.

Or they never had any intentions of selling it in the first place.... which is still wasting everybody's time.
