Of course, if yer now only forty years old, please ignore everything I've said and continue to market the car for at least another thirty or forty years and find that 1 of 1 buyer. . .

Yea but by then the Gober'ment would've outlawed ever driving one of these dinosaurs other than in a parade or confined to a museum.
Thought I saw on a UK show that they want the "dinosaur cars" off the road and were implementing laws to do so.

Any UK members want to chime in?

Whether the price is high or not............ONE of the most unique "C's" left and it's not like you will ever find another one in all likely hood. A part of the equation I think some folks are missing is the fact that it comes with a plethora of parts....meaning WAY ahead of the game on time and money to track them down. I will say this to anyone who cares to disagree with my asking price.......if what the car is worth after it is done is your main concern, than it is not for you and further more thinkers like that should not be in the "HOBBY". They should be a dealer or worse a flipper. As far as I know, you will NEVER get your money back from just about any "hobby" that I know of. I already have at least one purchaser....ME. Would be nice if I could find the way to do it.
As for fixing and driving........as stated earlier it would need WAY too much to make it road worthy for my current budget.

It's never been a hobby for me.
It might have started out harmlessly as a hobby, but it's transformed into a passion. I was just dreaming of opening my own 66 Polara/Monaco repair/restoration shop! I'd get them and fix them up for sale to our fine members here!

No. Its not a hobby or a passion. Its a disease!

It has never been a hobby for me either. It is pure love for these cars. I have way to much time and money in my 300. I also will never get it all back. So again just because your opinion is not the same as Johns does not make yours right and his wrong. Remember opinions are like A##holes everyone has one and although you think it is perfect, it stinks like everybody elses.

It's not a hobby. I just wanna drive them because it makes me feel good. Wolfen has made it a hobby. I couldn't care less about shows and cruise ins ....

I wanna drive

Chryslers at Carlisle is great as an event more than a car show imo. The sheer number of cars and vendors make it more fun than Disney. Everyone there is a mopar fan.
Local shows and cruise-ins around here are full critics and experts half of which don’t own an old car themselves.

Ha I got turned off the car show scene back in the mid 80's when I was trying to sell/give away my collection of spare Mopar parts. "I'll just get it from 'YearOne'.." was the answer... yea but my part is original. You wouldn't believe the stuff I threw away...

Years of going to the Turkey Run here in Daytona Beach (since 1986) is just blah... all flippers, if the conversation don't revolve around your interest to buy the car/latest toy they don't wanna talk to you.
This year on the first day I drove by Bellair Plaza and saw the front row growing all GM, well I just kept on going.
Didn't even go back for the late night antics, searched YouTube for that, well'ep what I found they all may just be wearing out they're welcome here IMO.
Last year I spent about 20 minutes, snapped 3 or 4 pics of some bizarre creations and left.

If I had a little more passion for that car... and a stack of $$... I'd be bugging you. I might not meet your price, but I would at least be working on letting you know I had desire.

Sorry, I don't mean to be educating the masses on how to negotiate or appeal to the seller who wants the car saved... and I'm not really qualified to do so anyhow. I do see the value in what you have offered. I'm really hopeful that this thread will stir the enthusiasts to the surface so you at least have a short list of applicants for the continuation of this car.

I am sorry to say, it doesn't appear that any are FCBO regulars. No biggie, in a few years some newbie will show up and post "Is the car still for sale?" so I see value in putting the word out there.

I'd like to see this one get driven too.

Is there a 426 "call-out" hood ornament for this model?

Was there a 426 decal on the air cleaner element or valve covers?

There was something about that place that I didn't like but I couldn't put my finger on it.
You nailed it.
The army of rental scooters running into me annoyed me more than the high priced flip cars in the corral. Been to both Fall and Spring shows there and just try to enjoy a day in the sun and a lot of walking.
