You gotta be dieing , this took entirely too long. If it started off closer to me and I had time I would have made an effort to pick it up myself and get it to the harbor

Thank you, I appreciate!

It's just because they forgot about it for 3 weeks... Now, its a small, local company called JMC Auto Transport LLC. Dan told me it's a very nice guy and he offered a great price for the transport!

I will write a review when the car is at its destination!

I'll call them tomorrow to get an answer to this question! They told me a while ago that a ship is leaving every 3 days. But I don't know if that means that the car is now a maximum of 3 days in the warehouse...

Excellent news, the journey has begun!

it will sit longer than three days in the harbour. It has to go through export clearences.

Nice. Patience is the key....after all this is over it'll just be an interesting story to tell about how you got the car.

Thanks Carsten, I forgot about all the paperwork...

It is already ;) This whole story will cost me at least 10 years of lifetime!

Unfortunately, everything is currently very out of control. Usually you have to expect from warehouse New York with a waiting period of three weeks. The packed containers must be delivered at the port a week before vessel departure and then about 10 - 12 days transit time.
Due to bad weather, various ports work only irregularly or not at all in the USA.

Sounds like another trail of patience...

What tire size should I buy for the 15 x 6JK rims? (9.15x15" (9.15iches = 230mm))

I've read about 225, 235 and 255/75/15. Which white wall tire brands would you recommend?

Thanks Stan. And I remember "mastercraft" is made by Cooper... Let's see if I can find them.

make sure it is a whiteline tire.

The correct original tires are currently not reproduced.
Only coker tires produces a double white stripe bias ply tire which looks nearly correct but isn't.
A friend of mine has them on his 70 Imperial

Isn't the Coker a thin white stripe on the outside, but the correct pattern has the thin white stripe on the inside?
