They're out :O

OH well ........... I am glad at least they got right back to you. :icon_super:

For what it's worth I had no luck and a several weeks of runaround with "Montway" prior to procuring Coast to Coast to ship my sport fury. It could have just been a fluke but I was not at all happy with them. :gah:

They were very quick. Just a few minutes to tell me they are not running that route. ;)

I checked out Montway, but unfortunately, they're way too expensive.

Thanks anyway for your hints!!!

Here is the carrier that I used. He runs up and down the east coast, but I think said he lives in New York, might be worth a shot. Question, once you get the carrier to deliver the car to the dock, do you then have to wait for a container, or is that all set up at this point?

Thanks, I've sent him a mail but according to the tracker on uShip, he is in Austin, TX at the moment.

To your other question; They told me, there is a ship every three days to ship my car in a container.

Holy crap how close is it to buffalo I'm feeling so bad for you at this point I'm ready to go get the damn thing with my flat.

I don't know if you've tried this shipper or not. He is over on the HAMB hotrod forum, and he is a shipper that specializes in hot rods and project cars. Go to www.jalopyjournal.com and go to this particular thread: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=635739 There are plenty of happy customers that have posted there about BenD and his services. Maybe he can help you out?
