Well, as some of you may know, I was offered a car that was exclusively for sale to me, I first saw it New Years day 2013, fast forward to today, and I took a run down to Dutton, On to get the car.

I slept about 35 minutes all of Friday night, I was out the door at 5:45 and arrived at Dave's at 8:35. Home at 1:35.

Around 600 or so kms on the 360 Magnum Ram, and my custom trailer I built.

I will be the cars 5th Owner in Ontario, the first being registered in 1973 in Toronto.

For a native southern Ontario car it is very solid. Even more so for a vinyl top car.

Anyway, the basic info..

END: End of Sales Codes

The 383/727 is long gone, at some point it had a 440 in it. Dave bought it in 2002, it's been stored inside since then. It's a factory Disc brake car which is nice, it doesn't need floors, which is nice, and best of all, the green 70 I had will provide most of what this one needs.

The eventual plan as evident by the SF grill strapped on my trailer is to build a GT clone, at this point in my life, this is my only way to get one. My largest variation is to build it as a U code 440 with A833. I want to keep it a bench, and will give it a pistol grip, Dave was kind enough to provide two hoods that have the turn signal indicators on them.

I'm going to keep the Black interior, but haven't decided on an exterior colour yet. Or wheels/tires. I have a set of 15x7 Roadwheels and a set of 15x8 ramcharger steelies, either might work well.

Nick

Are you planning to put the Sport Fury Bumper and Grill on this one? Be sure to save the extra front turn signal lenses, same as the Superbird and those folks pay big bucks for a nice set

If it had a vinyl roof it was installed after it left the factory. V5T is the code is for body side mouldings in tan.

Looks like a great project, congrats and best of luck with it.

long handle pistol grip works good with a bench. that 1-2 shift with a 440 is a rush. 'bout pulls the left front off the ground. 2-3 is something of a reach. the close ratio box in your other thread is the way to go. can't wait to see it....
