Yes there was a thread on this here somewhere. A similar system to the Oldsmobile W-31 if I remember correctly with the flexable hose with air inlets in the bumper. It has two inlets on the aircleaner. Maybe hard to find [ the thread]as it was discussed to convince a guy not to cut a hole in his hood.
Yes, that's what I was thinking about. But would a setup where the air filter gets relocated (instead of on top of the carb) give a lower profile and allow hood clearance with a taller intake manifold?
Holley SD intake makes power for sure in the magazine tests. Loses low end TQ to all intakes, but with a big stroker and small street tires, that's not necessarily a bad thing.
all OEM brackets for throttle and a/c work with it as well which is not true for the other intakes.
