I blew through Illinois Brian, as fast as we could. 81 South of Chicago at 330 in the afternoon fighting to get to the Indiana toll Road was something I could have done without.
I definitely like Southern Illinois better

80 at 330am is bad enough, and don't break down on the Dan Ryan on the south side of you leave your car it will be on fire when you come back, flat tire just keep driving buying a wheel is cheap compared to alternative.

It was brutal.... at one point, A sign and the GPS told me to bear right, and it was all of a sudden,I crossed three lanes to sit in traffic, throw 60 cents into a toll basket and it dumped me right back on the highway I came off of . I still cant figure it out. Yet, I cant wait to do it again in a year or two

Thank you.. I did. Well, not so much the day itself but more the 18 days prior were the best 18 days of my existence. I went back to work on my birthday, but with a cleansed soul
