well I guess I should junp in here before all the mud slinging starts. on the title I had never had anyone ask for a pic of title before so I was a bit leary of someone asking for it before askin anything about the car. as easy as it is to get a title nowadays I was hesistant. I tried to post on here before I posted it up on the bay but I didnt think it posted. so I put it up for auction. I have a signed undated title in the previous owners name.I found the car on craigslist north of indy and went to see and bought it, I was lookin for a vert when I bought this car and had planned on making a driver out of this one but have since found a vert and am selling this. I didnt buy it to flip I have more in it between purchase price new clutch and fuel than my starting bid. If your interested ask any questions Ill be honest as I can, Ill take any pics you want. So make sure you know the whole story before jumping to conclusions. and by the way im picking up a 69 newport vert this weekend if I can get away

commando1 You know how to get ahold of me if you have anymore questions.

lol....they do exist, i've seen a '70 conv with a 3 spd. Not sure if this is a game for him or what, but this is a joke though........it's like, why list a car for sale and then make it impossible for anyone to buy it? And how do these losers get ahold of these cars?

and the reason you bother is the same reason i do.......you are insane over these stupid cars
If I wanted to be talked down to id go back to moparts, theres plenty of smarta$$es there (LOL) Aaron

Aaron, the personal reply is very much appreciated. I got the pics of the title - thank you.
You certainly have one very unique Chrysler.

I had someone ask about the build sheet and to be honest I had never looked! Went out and looked and it was there about 90 to 95% intact and about 85% readable the seat springs have wore through. Thanks Aaron

Next question, will the money go where the mouth is?

To be honest, I would be very hesitant to give out any personal information, anything with my name and address or vehicle license plate numbers, VIN numbers, ect. on it. Where I work, one of the company vehicles got broken into recently. One of the drivers had left some CD's in it and there was probably $10.00 or $15.00 in change in the tray. The theives rummaged through everything and made a big mess but the only thing that they took was the vehicle registration papers that were in the glove box. Go figure.

That would be a nice project car. Becausee it's so unusual, I'd be telling myself to restore it but, I would have to constantly be fighting the voices in my head telling me to stick a 4-speed and C-body buckets in it. LOL:yes_no:

Rightly so. And he smartly didn't. When he sent me the pic of the Title, any info that a scumbag could have used was wisely covered over. The point is, I now know the car is legit, he has a Title in hand, and I'm satisfied...

I hear ya, but, I would do this one old skool. The way we did it as youngn's and had no money.
Simply put in a Spark-o-Matic 3 speed floor shifter (remember those??????)from Honest Charley's , a pair of Cherry Bombs (the vintage ones with the rolled edge seams!) , and leave it at that!!
Then cruise over and hang out at Happy Burger....
Oh! And an STP decal that you got free with every cardboard (!) can of STP.....

that is well understood......but i would want to see the title and proof it was in his name.....because if it wasn't in PA I would not be able to get a title for it. The rules are very difficult here.

Shopping around for shippers. Getting quotes from all of them for around a thousand bucks. :BangHead:

Runs good and new clutch just installed... fly out and drive her home. Just an adventurous thought... I would probably have her shipped too.
