Agree on the 68s at least. I have 2 68 L codes with drums. Monacos, auto and manual.
Yeah....the customer says "no" to your suggestion, to each their own.Previous owner/s must have been a fan of the Dukes of Hazzard, this car had a rough first 10 years, good in a way that they damaged it and parked it up or it probably would've been toast, smashed or scrapped. Each to their own with the 'they are only original once' thing, that's great with cars that have been well preserved, not in this case. Such a rare car, it deserves a complete resto, except for most of the interior.
My 1968 Plymouth Sport Fury 440 4 Speed convertible has drum brakes but 15 inch wheels, you don't see that combo often. Also came with G70-15 red line tires, same as an A12 car.I've probably seen a couple dozen '67 L-code C's over the years & even more '68s. I've never seen single '67 without discs but the majority of later years were drums. I owned a '68 Newport L-code & it had drums and standard suspension. If anyone can find a single 1967 C L-code with drums, I'll eat crow. I agree the documentation is skimpy but there is some literature out there, at least for Fury.

Just posted the video, let me know what everybody thinks!
Truck really isn’t bad. Found two more broadcast sheets in it yesterday and pulled the rear seat, mouse rust holes weren’t too bad back there.Very nice video. Wonder what the trunk looks like under the mat? Finding a nice straight/ unrusted fender in original R6 red will be like finding a rainbow pot of gold. They must have bounced it good to bust the T-bar.
