Yes. It absolutely is a complement. Unfortunately for me, my OCD is coupled with my ADHD which means everything has to be perfect but not for very long...

another day..few steps forward...couple yikes moments but movein along....wraped up bottom end of engine to day so will drop oil tomorrow and grease all fittings...not shure if they've ever been greased...also took cpl random shots of the front...like the looks of the engine in there...its a guy thing....
also have a little more adjusting to do in regards to hidden headlight doors...have seen some on some cars that just look nasty re alignment...its my bricklayers eye...all about the lines....not acceptable....

decided to go for a wander...if you have kids or a weak stomach may wana skip this part...both good and bad here....
just throwin pics out there...will deal with each situation as l come to it...found some filler...as bad as rear panels look they'll be easily fixable with couple 6 in strips...worst part will be dealing with rear lower valance...can save it if l can get it off lol...anyway some good some bad...bottom line pretty good considering...enjoy
oh btw...not shure what to say about those bars...are like new...

that's it for tonight folks.....Monday am picking up engine bay touch up paint so l can finally finish up top end and get her all back together..ie rad horns hoses ect....

i think you should repair the front valance. good practice for the other patches you need. if it doesn't work out, you have a back up plan.
do you plan on keeping the undercoating? how will you clean it?

ya will repair the front valance...have the tools..will be a tad tricky though as l cant realy use power tools in the pit due to folks living above where l have the car parked...tryin to be responcible...may bring valance up to apt and make my repair cuts there then l can haul it back down to weld it then back up to apt to finish,,,arghhhhh
...will leave existing undercoating on it as its on there pretty good realy..scrap any that's lose then will use rust bullet and then reundercoat after doing any rust repairs to area...all in all is gona be a fine dance to do what l wana do without tickin upstairs nieghbours off
....how will l clean it....? the hard way...wire brush...then spray area down with water and clean with bristle brush then prep and undercoat as needed...
was looking at pics and looks kinda daunting but am just gona tie into it...even if l only do a foot at a time will eventually get it done through persistence...
worst case scenario will do all the prep and hand it off to Dobalovers autobody guys to finish it up in the spring when lm back at work...right now its all about doing what l can do on the cheap &quiet and not pissin the nieghbours off ..one step at a time
