Friday night at Johnson's Corner Farm Market, III

You mean vinyl seats?

Carpet has no business being on a fishing boat.... Nice boat though

It's leather. The carpet is some sort of marine material. I'm not a boat guy so I don't know much about it. It never stinks or smells of mildew. It wicks moisture somehow. It has a wet well, bilge pumps, GPS, depth and fishfinder, trolling motor, ship to shore commo, I did figure out it doesn't have brakes! LOL!!

I'll post pictures.......my cousin would be pissed if I hacked off a piece and mailed it to you. It's not a boat you'll find at Bass Pro!!! It has a canopy for rain!

I was always under the impression Leather and water dont mix, unless it is still on the animal.

I am not arguing Bob, just wanted you to understand where I was coming from.......... Its leather

The best work boots for working where it's wet are leather. Lots of silicone. That's all.

So here we are with last nights (5/10) attendees, this time a bit more Mopars.
.......65' Plymouth vert'. As the story goes this is a one owner car---first guy had it for 47 years until it was sold to this dude. It was in decent shape for its age, didn't look like it was thrashed any....273 2bbl motor/auto trans..

70' Chrysler 300.....in rough shape. It had three different types of tires on it, and one tire was almost flat. Smelled like something was burning under the hood..and I don't think the rear tail lights were working either. They drove it in.

For only 501 or whatever the number of Hurst 300's made were.....we seem to see them quite regularly here. I sure hope that one will be restored.

It was really a shame seeing that car come in that kind of shape, and it was not like the guy was trying to sell it either. They parked right behind me and then took off for the ice cream stand so I never got a chance to speak to the owner....we were the only 70' c body cars there.
