Yup, "dots"! We had this candy shop called Crands Candy Castle out in Wardhouse Point, CONN which was in a huge brick colonial house.. dots were a mainstay... Those guys started the barely sensical cartoon genre. It's been mostly down hill since but I certainly enjoyed good ole Ren n Stimpy back in the day!
