I learned something today

I was busy with work around the house and other running around all day and the weather was warm and clear just perfect for a cruise. Finally put the tools away just as it was getting dark. Pulled Nessie out of the garage and it was a perfect top down cruise through town and back averaging 30 mph all the way. One of the most pleasant cruises I can recall. The Monaco is fun to drive and Polara is simply a pleasure. Two very different but complementary experiences.

The weather here has been perfect. I dont recall more perfect weather strung together ever. Something about getting those Polara convertibles out.

30MPGs Fred? :eusa_whistle:

Capable of over 20 mpg but doubt I've ever hit 30. Don't really care when the cruising is this good...like being in a trance.

nice pics Dave.

But the TIME you took them is unbeliveable.
I am in bed at this time of the day. Sometimes not too long yet.
I have a hard time waking up at 8am.

Nice, Dave! As always you take fantastic pictures. I agree If you can get out early enough parts of south jersey are absolutely deserted, and look like the deep south. Car is nice too, lol. Yeah, I think I know that road..haha.

Nice pics Dave, thanks.
my guess on the bird would be turkey vulture.

Can anyone tell me what kind of bird this is? He looks mean...

It's an old Buzzard. Surprised he's not a member here...

Those usually have the red thing on their face and are fatter. Those fly our skies frequently. This bird I've never seen before...... could be a buzzard

It's a buzzard. We have a ton of them here in Florida.
The skies will be clear and not a sign of animal anywhere.
A squirrel gets run over and 2 minutes later it looks like a Teamsters Union meeting at the free coffee and donuts table.

That I can relate to.

Skies here have the turkey buzzards and Red tails. Occasionally an Eagle but that's scarce.
