I pulled the trigger on 2019 Scat Pack Charger

The CAI is about $400. Graham, what do you think dealer cost would be? I'm going to ask for it at dealer cost.

About $300 Bob. Can you put a stop payment on the 300 loan? I can’t believe they let it go this long :realcrazy:

Needs a gen-yoo-wine hood scoop. Seriously.
I studied a lot about CAI when I was in VetteLand and read about the gazillion CAI's out there for the Vettes and HP gains were negligible as installed. A computer "tune" after the CAI installation gave around a 5hp gain.

This is what is on the car now.

The hood has an open air inlet on the scoop and there are 2 open air inlets on the grill next to both headlights.

What special edition cars have a CAI?

I didn't even see a Hellcat or a Demon with one.

I haven't seen a 6.4L Scat Pack with CAI from the factory.

But I have seen a T/A with a 5.7L with a CAI from the factory.

Edit: Challenger T/A and Shaker have factory CAI and I have fired my admin assistant who takes all the training for me so I don't have to...apparently he was slacking

The dealer redid my Scat Pack and lowered my payment to recover the cost that I paid on the payment on the 300. On 5/27 I'll be forced to make another payment.

For all the aggravation you had to deal with, maybe you can get the dealer, or maybe sales guy, to throw one of these in...
It's the least they can do, and it's probably an item that's just collecting dust on the parts shelf in the service department.

Bling in exchange for time, money, and aggrevation?
No thank you.
If it was me, I would want the taste of blood at a minimum.

Like Graham said....

They don't care enough to make it right!

I'd be pissed if they kept hitting me for a car payment for a vehicle I no longer had possession of, and I hope it gets straightened out before they tap any more dollars from the bank.
Most people would want blood. IMO, expecting a better outcome has a good chance to happen by keeping your cool.
I don't see dealership's doing too much to make Amen's for their mistakes made by their staff anymore, even when their clearly at fault, but for the number of cars purchased there, they should be all over this problem.
If the pistol grip is too much bling, and probably not the right solution to this screw up, they should do something for the inconvenience and cost that has incurred.
My dealer always tries to hit me up to buy their multi-month oil change deal when ever I go there. I never take them up on their offer as I still change my own. I'd have no trouble telling them they need to "make good on this" and tell them to at least pony up for the mistake with this program, maybe even have them throw in that blingy shifter too, or they won't be seeing me signing anymore new car sales agreements.

....now, back to Bob's Hot Rod.
Looking forward to see what the Scat Pac does in the 1/4.
