Interesting FABO rant about FCBO...

Actually... You guys haven't even started to understand the real enemy....

The Metric Challenger owners. Just wait until you start tangling with those gold chain wearing mofos on a regular basis.

I even had one go off about me about parking next to him at a cruise.....
I've got a t-shirt that could've ended that conversation for you. "Don't F&$^ with an old guy, if he can't kick your ***, he'll just kill you." Picked it up at a gun show a few years ago.

I think with the New York State SAFE act, I would get in trouble for owning that....

I think the smack talk is kinda funny, yea we're probably older than them, but we appreciate the nicer things, we can't help it we have more class.

I drove my big ole car 75 miles one way to Garlits this year, it was a very comfy ride. I could have seated 4 and had plenty of room, do that in a Dart/Valiant/Pick an A body.

A body guys like it tight, so they can get a thrill when their legs "accidentally" rub against their boyfriend's leg.

F them.........Everywhere I take My C bodies they draw more attention then the ABE crowd..........

Every young person who's seen my cars has nothing but good things to say, Sorry to say, but I think the younger generations are a bit more tolerant of one another.

Mine only seats 2 and will wear any one out trying to drive 75 miles but man is it fun for the first 10mile. still looking for the pokey stick smiley

I will just say i am on FABO but much rather be here, i love bullshiting with you guys. It is much smaller over here but that is ok, I like just a close Knit group of a few people.

Yes, if we don't value them (our C's), then who else will? While a large number of full size GM's and Fords do end up being engine donors and derby cars, I think that more of them probably do get saved, compared to C-body Mopars.

I remember posting in another thread on here a few months back that I wished that the value of C-bodies would go just high enough to make them impractical for the derby guys. I'll now add these engine pulling cannibalizers to that statement as well.

Can't talk for GM but can for Galaxies. Unlike New Yorkers, which only came with the 440, Galaxies could have any engine from a six all the way up to the 428. I have seen few 428 Galaxies in my life. Have seen many 289 and 390-2V Galaxies though. Those don't end up as donors too often. I also doubt the rare 7 Liter Galaxie ends up as a donor also.

As to the A body I seem to recall at the Mopar show that A body owners also happened to be an older crowd in their 50's through 60's or is that only out here?

Screw them, they are just made because we paid less then half of what they did for twice the amount of car. I had a challenger and a dart, sold them both without a flinch, it would be very hard to let the 880 go.

There are many c-body enthusiasts on FABO, me included. FCBO is smaller, it might feel more insular to someone used to FABO which is big, and it's true more young people are interested in a-bodies for their muscle-car qualities. The comments are just good natured ribbing from a young member who has owned c-bodies and who has strong opinions about things.

Yea, amazing how they're negating two Amendments to the Constitution of the United States in the name of political correctness. What's more amazing is the population is allowing it.

I got my A body first. I got a console so I won't be rubbing any guys legs, thank you very much. I haven't driven my Dart very much, and always by myself so when I went for a ride when my buddy got his Demon on the road, I couldn't believe how tight the inside was! It will be weird getting the Dart on the road after years of driving the Polara.

For WIW, I stumbled upon this place looking for a Formal. I had found the other sites in the past, they didn't appeal so I never joined. You guys are why I'm here. I could love the cars without you, its the people I saw here as a lurker that made me want to be a part of this.

Thank you all.

Geez, 7+ pages in a day? WOW, talkative bunch aren't we? I'm not reading all of that, but I will say that I have never seen such a bunch of condescending, arrogant, self centered, holier than thou bunch of "all-about-me A-holes over on that board that think their $h!t don't stink. The only reason I go there is to read the /6 section.
