Today we moved the car from the the workshop to the storage area of the building.
Maggie got to drive her car for the first time since she bought it!!
A spin around the block just before winter storage..

Well the snow came hard heavy and fast so a good day to polish trim.
Garaged most of its life, the trim came out very nice. Actually only needed to use 2000 wet sand paper before hitting the buffer. All polished and wrapped ready to install...

As part of my voluntary social distancing..I discovered Spray Nine can kill all viruses and bacteria...Says so on the label!
It works great on cleaning white plastic trim parts too!!!

You can see I did one half of the long piece..Years of nicotine gone!!

Agreed.. we used it in the military as well. Stuff works fantastic. When my father passed in 2018 I acquired his 95 F150. Dad was a big smoker so you can imagine what the interior of the truck look like. The trucks headliner was sagging after 27 years, so to pull the headliner to have a replace, I ended up having to pull the seats to get it out and figure while I was there I would just gut the interior and give it a good cleaning. I use spray nine on everything from the carpet to the plastic panels.. and voilà, the gray interior was revealed.. The carpet picture is the only “after” shot, all the others are pre-spray nine. LOL

@cbarge and @75LandYacht: you used the cleaner and degreaser with disinfectant, correct? The product is currently unavailable at most online retailers, probably because of the virus, but at least one hardware store still has some stock. Thank you for the suggestion!

You’ll love it, it’s amazing stuff. FYI though!!! do not use it on leather or vinyl / plastic that has been re-colored / color repaired.. it WILL take the color off.

Use gloves. It'll also take a layer of skin off your hands. I believe it's a lye based cleaner.

I've been using it for over 35 years now.

Yes for the 69.
Got a lotta little things to do and both Maggie and I are anxious to get to work.
Gotta pull the seats and related items for the new carpet.
Got a clock converted to quartz and electronic 5 volt gauge limiter waiting to go in
Under the hood Pertronix ignition and general tune up. Got the Hella headlamps and Putco harness with relays and complete LED light conversion.
Got a front sway bar and frame brackets waiting to go in.
Finally fix a broken exhaust hanger.
Once on the road I may change the shocks depending on how qell the old ones behave, lol!
Do the ammeter and bulkhead bypass

did you do the side trim too? if so, how did you remove the anodizing and do you have a picture of what the clips look like?

No the side trim stayed on the car. It is in really good shape so no need to remove it.
I did the trim related to the roof and windows (new vinyl top).
I plan on cleaning and polishing the bumpers since they still have grime from the barn she was parked in.

Went to the shop today to charge up the battery. It was disconnected but the El cheapo Walmart battery was down on juice.
With the state of emergency pandemic stiil in place the car will have to wait.
All carcshows are or will be cancelled so no rush.
My storage landlord is in no rush to get me out so thats fine by me.
