Old Man with a Hat
Thought I'd start a thread for those who have done work on their cars and motors that could be called a "street" or "mild" upgrades. I'll leave it to someone else to start another thread for the "track" or "performance" oriented builds. The idea of this thread is to state the objective of your build and summarize what you did. In the case of the Polara's #'s matching 318 rebuild it was left bone stock because of the car's rarity (1/842). It actually has decent pick up of a car it's size. The Monaco 500 came with a tired 440 out of a 78 NYr. My objective was to build the 440 for good down low grunt and decent passing ability on the highway. The car will never see the track. Here's a summary of the upgrades.
· 440 C.I. V8
