There is a 1976 New Yorker listed om Ebay as well as Craig's List in Phoenix, AZ. There was a posting here about it but other than a few comments made about the sellers ad there really wasn't much said about it. I would like to know what your thoughts are on the car based on his asking price, mileage and he condition of the car based on what can be seen in the photos and the knowledge available on this site. Thanks guys.....

Lots of work done to polish this particular rock.

Looks like a Mopar electronic ignition but no description given of recent tuneup or service.
Lots of funky a/c hoses and discription of special “toggle switch” to get it to work is worrisome as this in an AutoTemp II car. Getting one back up and running properly can be pricy but very possible depending on the amount of damage done in the custom “repair”
Repaint without detail pictures lead me to believe that an on site inspection is required.

What the hell “Ram Exhaust” is I don’t know but this car has it. Heads?????

Custom dual exhaust would have been better description. And it looks good.

Fair value car at 1/2 the asking.... if it pans out with inspection. Way to much at current asking...... Run Forest, RUN !!!!!

Lot of idiots asking big money for cars that they do not understand. I am guessing that this seller is a "flipper" trying to make a quick buck. Enough said.

A/C is ice cold but has a bypass toggle switch because the control panel stopped working. The down side is that the heat will not come on because it is by passed as well.
In other words, the AutoTemp II HVAC is broken.
Read as much about ATC II as you can and if you still want it with its unknown mileage...
The seller is over hyping the car by 100% at the least.
DANA rear end is BS.

Didn't Dana/Spicer supply the Chrysler 9.25" rear axle? Not the beloved Dana 60 in this car, though. In some cases termed "12 bolt"? Just curious.

I understand the 73-1/2+, 9-1/4" rear end as a "Corporate" rear.
The Danas used in other Mopar model lines were the 9-3/4 Dana 60 and the Dana 53 9-1/4 in the 66-68 440 4 spds.

I have to agree with the other comments, it appears to be a rust free car, but the price is way too high at this time. If you look, photos show different tires on the car, it appears these are a mix of photos when they first purchased it and current photos. There are also quite a few electrical wires that are crimped into the electrical system under the hood. I did not see the controls on the side of the driver seat for the power seat. With the problematic AirTemp II AC control and an unknown replacement of the Lean Burn System, $9K is a bit agressive. There are quite a few of these cars starting to bubbling up, keep looking. I have to admit the color combo is great.

Thanks for the info guys, I have to agree with you on the price, it is high considering and after a little research he has flipped cars in the past. I think what caught my eye was the wow factor of the interior with the white exterior. He is burning both ends of the candle, he has it listed on Ebay as well as Craig's List and I don't think he will get what he wants on either one. I know very little about the Air Temp II and don't want to start by learning the hard way so again I thank you all for your help!
