Old Man with a Hat
I dunno. The Dodge boys are still oout for lunch.
I use Hamtramck constantly.Stan, the info is out there, we just need to pull it together. Check the data books at Hamtramck Historical. That will help with years/names/models. The 1970 Hamtramck Registry Library Page (1965 - 1969)
great add! another one-year wonder by Ma Mopar ;)
was there a "regular" 880 in 1965, and then a highline/up-trim "Custom 880" as well that we C bodies?
Sorry, not quite so straight forward. The wagons are a PITA. 65 through 67 were not called suburbans, they were I II and III. 75 thorough 77 they were Gran Suburbans because the Suburbans were B-Bodies from 75 on.
Duly noted. Lemme recheck Hamtramck and any errors will be fixed.Sorry, not quite so straight forward. The wagons are a PITA. 65 through 67 were not called suburbans, they were I II and III. 75 thorough 77 they were Gran Suburbans because the Suburbans were B-Bodies from 75 on.
Pretty straight forward and easy to understand.![]()
68 was first year for Suburban, X for 68 Suburban, NO X for 75 & 76 Suburban, they are Gran Suburban only. Sorry to be picky, OCD. Thanks for doing this. Very cool to have a reference.
That's body shamming...LOLMoparts does something that pizzez me off in their classifieds.
If it's not an A, B, or E-body, they lump all other RWD cars under "Full sized".
Full sized? Really?
So, they would call an M-body a full-size? Even though the first M-bodies went into production in '78, while C-bodies and B-bodies were still being built? The M-body still wasn't a "full-size" car between '79 and '81. The F-bodies were never "full-size". I guess they either don't know or just don't care. Too bad.Moparts does something that pizzez me off in their classifieds.

Gonna fix that right now. Thanks.I'm probably not reading your chart very well today but it looks like you have an X for 72 and 73 300's.
Stan....the 5th Generation Imperial's (1974-1975) were definitely C-Body platform cars.
