Mr. Gasket/Lakewood engine hoist that I bought in 1979 and it has been used much since. The Hein-Werner ram/jack got weak early in its life and was repaired at a hydraulic shop. Retail price was $403 then, but I worked at an auto parts store, and the supplier, American Performance Parts Warehouse. had a deal and I got it for less than jobber price, at about $180. The lift chain is from Mr. Gasket/Lakewood too. We joked that it was made out of Lakewood traction bars, and it is the same color yellow that they were.
