About the only thing I don't like about Montana, not being able to drive the nice stuff during the Winter. Pretty much just use the two four wheel drive trucks until Spring now. I did get to take the two Mustangs out for one last romp each yesterday. Then tucked them in. The wife's Charger will possibly be used for long road trips when the forecast looks good and the roads are dry. Not complaining, I love snow, but it's such a long wait. And it will be a longer wait in the next years as the Polara gets done and only driven in the nice weather. You Southern guys have it good when it comes to driving weather.

No snow here......yet. I'm still driving the NY'er. No snow last winter and was able to drive year round.

I think the first dose of salt has been spread, I'm done and not very happy about it.

Cold as well, a few snow sprinkles. Cars are done. Several years ago I had a 70 Land Rover. When it snowed, I was like a kid again. What a car guy needs is a usable winter toy, like a Power wagon or a M715.

Oh Yeah! That thing is sweet! I thought about doing a first Generation Scout at one time.

Getting a set of winter tires on my dad's old car next week, just finishing paint on an extra set of rims, 50 lbs barbell in the trunk and voila ----winterready. :)

Winter blows cold & salt. Had to go load this morning 15 degrees everything's frozen my fingers are cold I'm ready to move south.

There's been salt on the roads here since mid October. Even before it snows they spread it on bridges because of overnight frost or something. First light snowfall was October 20th, but that melted. Snowed again on November 8th and stayed. I usually put my Newport away around the second week of October, but this year I got too busy with other things and didn't even drive it after early September. Winter is so long and by the time they clean the salt of the streets it will probably be the end of May.

We have about a foot or so of the white crap on the ground so far.

Well, yesterday was a crap day. Winds 30 mph gusting 50 with snow all day. High temp is 0*F and wind chill around -20 to -25F. This is what you end up with.

It took about 45 minutes with the snowblower to clear the side with the truck sitting on it. Poor Monaco needs a better home.

The two blue ovals and the Dart in their winter nest. I hate not having my cars at the house where I can keep a closer eye on them. But at least it's heated and dry.

Yuk, that reminds me of Minnesota & I don't miss Minnesota winters one bit. Ohio winters suck enough.

Sorry to bust balls but that Monaco needs some shelter.

I'm going to drive my NY'er tommorrow with the windows down........54 degrees and possibly warmer.

and people ask me why I want to stay in California.

Winter here makes for great days to go for a drive.

January in SoCal

Nice photo, but I wouldn't give up having snow. No way. Maybe when I am old and retired, but for now....no way.
