Put the cars to bed for the winter.....

That car is gorgeous and so is the sky......and isn't that snow on the caps in the distance? No snow yet here but it's been rainy/cloudy all week. Depends on the weather but if I can I'll take the car out once a month.

We had the earliest snow cover in memory last week here in southern Ontario. It melted but now we are back below freezing. Both of my cars stay insured all year since its relatively cheap. There is a lot of salt used here but I use every opportunity when the roads dry to turn the wheels. Depending on the winter it can be once a week to once a month in January February and March. This winter isn't starting out with much promise.

If it didn't snow I would never want to work on my car, so I will call it a blessing in disguise. I just wish we didn't have all this damn salt I don't know how I'm getting my car back to my shop anything soon.

In New England, my wife and I both at the same time got cars that absolutely needed to be tucked away for the winter.
It was a one car garage. Damn near got a divorce over that one.

How much did it suck having yours outside with hers in the garage?

How did you know??? ROTFLMFAO...

And yes, it sucked big time but a marriage was saved.
I think.........

I have to admit So Cal living is fine when you like driving or ridding bikes. I was born and raised here. The only things that suck about this state is the politics, the cost of living and all of these damn people. On the up side I have never had to put a bike or car "up for the winter" so I have that going for me. Still once I retire I think I'm gone, Arizona is looking good to me.

I just did a COL comparison between where I am and from where I came from.

What costs me $1,000.00 here, I would have been laying out $1,666.00 had I not moved. Way too much fat in those states that could be cut without any drop in quality of life. Except snow removal and heat but why would I want to pay for those in the first place.
