The sub frame project has begun..

Man that really looks Killer! Makes me want to tear my junk apart and redo it all. But the old lady would kill me if I started to do that right now. I have to get it running and driving for a while. She says I tear them all apart and never put them back together then sell them. So I am spot cleaning as I go for now but man that is sweeeeeet!

Yah I did that last summer even with the semi crappy brakes and a rotted subframe. cruised around real easy and then tore into it beginning of the year..

yeah I think she wants me to prove I can get one running and driving then we can make it nice as long as I don't cut it up too much. Any time she see's me with a sawzaw she freaks out! LMAO.

I wouldn't mind doing that but the cost would be "prostupiditive" for the cost of the intake alone.

the cost for the 4bbl plus having to open the exhaust from a single right now to a dual would not be condusive to my marriage status! :D

I hear that, I'm always getting that from the better half..! Maybe after you get it done and you're sitting around one day,..you'll say,......hmmm time to do some mods..! :)

Now Jason, don't wanna hear that sawzaw word again. No cutting up a MOPAR ever! Lol.

Finally installed the engine & Transmission last night!

Not a scratch installing it. - Got to love these wide open engine installations! :)
Beautiful work. You are already ahead of me I need to get my *** in gear.

Well, it coming along. I hope to fire this engine this weekend or early next week.

I plumbed the new fuel ines in front to back then formed up new lines from the F/P to the Carb.

Statically timed the engine.

Still have to replace the u-joints then install that so i can fill the transmission up
Add oil to the engine..
Fix the wiring harness yet.

It's in not great a condition at the moment..

I have to still do the bushings for the front suspension.

It's all the little picky things I have to attend to before the metal goes on.

I originally bead blasted the fuel lines but was told that I was being too cheap!

So I decided to make new ones to prove that I wasn't a cheap bugger plus I had the option of not if they didn't look good after :)

I just spend days cleaning my brake lines and fuel line, it was nothing about being cheap, I just saw no reason to replace them, they were in great shape just not clean.

I can appreciate the above comments made here.

The person who has to be happy with the job is the owner..

If you are happy with the cleaned lines then all the more power to you. It's your car & 100% your decision.
I totally respect that. - I really do!

I replaced some of the brake lines as well that had some minor pitting which would have worked but that would always have been in the back of my mind thinking I should have replaced them even though they would have been just fine but since I have the car in the state it is in right now, there is no better time than to do the lines especially since they are extremely easy to get to now.

I had the fuel line on hand to replace the front to rear and transmission lines so it was just a matter of time spent on my part.

Have a great day gents!

This looks great!!

What kind of plug wires are those and did you need to trim them to fit perfectly or is that out of the box?

I have to check the stamping on the wires.
They were on the engine when I bought it last year. .

Ah, gotcha. As where mine and it looks like spaghetti under the hood because they are so long. I was told they can be cut to length so maybe I will try google for that process.

Yes. I have custom fitted sp wires before but you need to have the correct cutters n crimpers or there will be nothing but trouble. ..

Ok, so I checked for a Brand Name on the ignition wires but there is nothing other than "Super Suppression ignition wires" stamped into each one..

Well I took one for the team yesterday and stayed home to work on the car.
