Quick update.
I have been challenged on removing the rear connector pieces from the side rails.
Spot welded & bolted. - guess they didn't want these things falling off

Busy cleaning up rusty flakes from the underside and testing the firewall for ease of cleaning up.
I think no matter what it is going to be a bit of a haul getting this looking good.:snow plow:

I have been using the3M rust wheels which last only about 5 minutes a piece which is a bit disappointing since they cost $10 each at the local retail outlet.
It's still way better than sanding by hand!

Here's a few pic's of the latest progress.

I sandblasted the Stub frame last night and tonight have applied the first coat of Rust Bullet.

I used a brush & small roller & I must say it laid out very well. almost looks like it was sprayed on.

Good thing I have a proper air mask as the fumes reminded me of my earlier model airplane days using the nitrate dope.

I'm seeing details in that stub that I never would have noticed otherwise.
You appreciate its massiveness.
You don't get that satisfaction of safety in a FIAT.

Well back in the day of these machine rolling down the road, most times the car survived but the passengers didn't.. Now days the car dies and the passengers survive!!
