Tool fro removing drip rail mouldings?
I could have used that a month ago.Ding, Ding Ding!
Yes, drip rail pliers by Porter Ferguson , found them researching vinly top advice.
At least it's a "barn find" in a real barn. I get a kick out of some guy finding a car in his neighbor's garage, and next thing you know, he has a Barn Find!!!Put mine in a barn for a long winter's nap. Gonna tell everyone next year it was a "Barn Find"...

I am still using my 1985 Stewart Warner basic timing light. No dial back function. That would be helpful at the higher RPMs and adding the vacuum advance to the equation. I have enough indicator to decipher up to 20 degrees and can guesstimate another 10-25, So yes for accuracy I should be using a dial back.A good digital timing light with dial back function and RPM works well for tuning a dizzy as well....that is what I have and use to make sure my dizzies are functioning properly.
Not so fast, I found a rather large math error above. I forgot to double the distributor degrees before I added the 7-1/2 base timing.Think you got it not many do
Now that is a heavyweight collection!
You are right a dial back timing light does work quite well. I went out an bought one with the rpm readout and advance readout. Found a 20% off coupon for Advance Auto. Took $99 down to $80.A good digital timing light with dial back function and RPM works well for tuning a dizzy as well....that is what I have and use to make sure my dizzies are functioning properly.
