What did you do to your C-body today....

got one window motor rebuilt today. Tore it apart and cleaned the stator contacts and regreased everything. The magnets had come loose from the casing too. another one is toast...main bushing in the bottom is frozen...still trying to get the stator out but dont have high hopes for it, but I was able to use the casing from that one to rebuild the first one. Oddly, my rear window motors dont have the triangular 3 bushing setup. maybe they are meant to be that way or they are 69+ motors? havent taken the front apart yet.

Pushed it about a football field from a dead stop
:wideyed: Damn! I had a friend get hit while stopped, guy going 55 and the court awarded my friend, $50k worth of prescription meds. :realcrazy::wtf: And the driver mentioned he had a windshield covered in frost or whatever, not allowing him to see. Another reason I love living in the country.

What a defense. Your Honor, I was too lazy to scrape my windshield...

This was just a young dumb kid driving with his mom. Stop & go traffic on the freeway and he wasn’t paying attention. The mom told the cop that my wife caused the accident by being stopped in traffic. He explained to them both that no it’s pretty much 100% their fault.

That's a good one. So mom said she would have done the same thing? :BangHead:

Got one fender call-out done. I know it's not concourse correct but I think Chrysler should have done the color match to the quarter panel medallion to start with.

Continue working on the windlace, taillight bezels etc.

Not technically on the car, but after getting the evaporator tested for leaks I soaked it in hot water Mr. Clean to disinfect it from anything that might have peed on it.

Also worked a little bit on the console for my aftermarket radio.

I've meant to post in here more frequently but have been forgetting to, so forgive me as I bombard you guys...

Over the past few weeks I've been going up on my one day off I have during the week and picking away at my parts cars...

When we were moving up north I had to lighten my parts stash, offered the parts for sale super cheap first, then after no interest free for the taking and no one wanted anything so it all had to go to the recycler....killed me a little inside to see good parts go that route. Hope you can find new homes for your parts.

I head out to Shawshank every weekend or days off to run and check fluids on the Imperials all winter long. This January has been pretty mild and it's trending that way for rest of month.

I thought I would never get this finished! Wife gets her basement parking back.

Today-repaired brake line, finished passenger side lower suspension and changed O-ring in power steering (thanks Steer and Gear for having parts for small TRW pump).
