The engine of my Sport Fury needed TLC, that's what I knew as I bought her. One bolt of the exhaust manifold was broken, the valve oil seals were toast and the engine full of hard oil sludge. A new timing chain was also on the list.
One thing I never saw before, was a hole in the valley pan.

The car is with a friend who is a car mechanic. I want to keep the costs as low as possible for myself, so we left the engine in and only removed the heads.
My job on the project is mainly cleaning the parts. I don't want a new color because I don't need a show and shine car and the hoods are usually closed at German car shows;)

The water pump housing is currently in a special workshop, so there was some time for me today to clean the engine compartment and the trunk edges.
As a reminder, it shouldn't be a show car ...
