They told me "end of October" in July. They hit their promised date so I'm not complaining.Thanks. I looked into having them make the seats and the boot. They're 34 weeks behind on production...
Legendary stuff is really nice. Worth the wait.

I had to do the same in my NYB, you’ll find that 45 plus year old grease in combination with dirt and grim is binding them up. Good cleaning and fresh grease will do wonders. IMOI'm going to have to rehab both rear window motors and regulators on the convertible, and the rear regulators on the Coronet this Winter season. The Imperial DS rear is stuck down, and the PS rear is slooooow up and down.
The Coronet has always had quarter windows that were hard to crank up or down. I need to get into those and see if the are just sticky or if there is more to it.
FWIW, and this is no substitute for repairing the motors, I added relays to my power windows and they are much faster now. I think the voltage drop with the wiring through the switches is substantial.I'm going to have to rehab both rear window motors and regulators on the convertible, and the rear regulators on the Coronet this Winter season. It was a pleasure to meet you as well Vlad. Again thank you for the opportunity and trust with taking Putin around the block. LolHad the pleasure of meeting 75LandYacht yesterday, a member of this forum, who is restoring his 77 New Yorker.
Thanks for connecting.
That also gave me a reason to take out my 76 NY'er, run out the old gas, and today fill up fresh, and start the process of winter storage.
Wow Alan.. didn’t know you did a strip down. Looks sweet.
Haven't posted much but what I have is here.Wow Alan.. didn’t know you did a strip down. Looks sweet.
is there a thread on her?
There is a new variety of car wax. Ceramic based. Supposed to last a full year between applications, I haven't tried it. They claim it makes your car "scratch resistant." Can't even put your car keys on the hood, they'll slide right off.just wondering if there show up a new technology in handwashing?
With the winter coming I took a chance a few weeks back and made a final run before storage. Gave Polara a wash, put in fresh 93 US octane gas (7 USD/gallon), and removed a battery. It's like 7-8 years since my last visit to the states, so just wondering if there show up a new technology in handwashing? Sure the concept is very old, but this new contact-less technology with spot-free rinse took a storm in Europe like 5 years ago? It leaves no water spot marks once the car self dry thanks to specially treated water used for the final wash.

It doesn't make it "scratch resistant" meaning your car keys aren't going to scratch the paint. It makes it a little more resistant to micro scratching from car washes etc. There is a new variety of car wax. Ceramic based. Supposed to last a full year between applications, I haven't tried it.
