What's it look like with the roll up door and regular down from the outside? Anniversary photo's are hard to tell

btw I measured the ceiling and it's only about 9'6" so lift is probably not in my future :( in this house anyway

Nice and thanks but what are these box shapes on the roll up? Access points for the roll up gears or something?

Sorry for so many questions today Stan but I didn't notice them before as I was looking at the car and your garage, car, lift etc .. appreciate your patience.

Also nice work on the edit's of my post earlier when you answered my questions .. what did you use? Photoshop or paint or something else?

Those are wooden "scuff guards" I added because the door is barely wider than the car.
Concrete stucco and steel don't like each other.
I use Irfanview for quick n dirt photo editing and Gimp for more complicated photo chopping.

I will bet that it can be reframed to make it into a cathedral ceiling. Piece of cake. Take a pic.

Sorry that took a while I my daughter and I was capturing some shot's of cars from my past which I'll put up somewhere later ..

However here's some shots of the garage .. note where the positioning of the Durango and Impala .. swapped them yesterday :)

Not huge but bigger than this looks

Both vehicles fit when I don't have two riders in the garage .. Durango is parked a little to far into center

Nope, I don't need one. Jack stands work fine for me. Maybe when I get a little older.

That is a great set up Stan.

I considered doing a lift, but even after dealing with the overhead issues, the concrete floor isn't thick enough for a lift.

a four post lift may be your answer then, unlike Stans two post that needs to be bolted down and secure many four posts dont require it, though I would do it if it were mine.

:bs_flag: No one needs a lift but it makes things a ton easier, especially to an old roofer. You're over 40 strongly consider it once you have a place to put it

Yea, I looked at four post lifts, but they seem more for storage of another vehicle rather than working on it. I'd still have the overhead issues with the door and the rafters if I did that.

What really needs to happen is for me to move someplace else with a larger shop. That's not in the near future.

I have a place to put one but I just put a bunch of rubber mats on the floor & it's not so bad.
