1970 Fury I stripper!

"The gas station hater." HA!! I did get 27 MPG with my '70 Challenger 225.
“Tough all-vinyl seats”. More like “Rough” with a 3-D cheese grater pattern that’s sure to ruin a polyester leisure suit!

I un-bagged the bolts from the engine removal, cleaned them and, consulted this handy list to confirm their identity. Then I re-bagged and tagged them in new, clean, clearly marked bags.

My quest for color… I put it on there crooked. Just not as crooked as the factory did.

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought it had checked out OK.
Me too. They mangafluxed it Friday and I hadn’t heard from them so I figured it must’ve checked out.
I called them today to check on the head and they told me about the block. To be honest, I’m a little upset that they didn’t let me know Friday when they found out. It’s Tuesday now and I’m the one who called them.
They seem very capable, so I’m biting my tongue. For now.
It’s par for the course these days I guess.
I’ve got a line on another block, hopefully it will pan out. I would have liked to keep the original but, any evidence of it being original to the car would’ve been milled away when it got decked anyway.

While I wait for a call about an engine core… this idler arm needs replaced. Little easier to do while the engine is out. At this point, I’m whistling through the graveyard because of the situation!
