1970 Fury I stripper!

Fantastic Car
Keep the 'buzzzin half-dozen' but with a super-six (2bbl) upgrade.
I had a "64 Dart that had an Offenhauser 2X1 intake and Doug Dutra split exhaust.

The 'Hemi' crowd was displeased that a /6 would draw as much attention as their mega-buck rides.

Thanks! I’m going to try to keep it original as I can.

This tag in the glove box tells me this car was ordered with A/C delete.

Ouch....no such thing as A/C delete. You cannot delete things that weren't standard such as A/C, radios, PS, PB, Vinyl tops, etc.

My gut feel is you have a fleet car and that is a corporate maintenance tracking sticker. Please find a BS.

It’s my lie, I’ll tell it how I want! I had already asked twice and didn’t get a response. I knew if I claimed it was something off the wall I’d get put in my place real quick! Thanks!

I started looking under/behind the back seat then on a whim, I felt under the front for the BS. Found it there!!

Another shot of this thing in the glove box. I didn’t know there was anything in that top corner.. I’d really like to know what this is!

I’ve never seen a car this old so devoid of any signs of being occupied by humans. There’s no chewing gum wrappers, loose change, scraps of paper, etc. to be found anywhere. A few mouse droppings were under the rear seat and one lonely cigarette butt in the front ashtray. There is not even one scrap of anything in the glove compartment or trunk that would indicate signs of life. Just seems odd to me.
The car does have scratches and dents on the body. Notice I didn’t use the word “dings”. There ain’t no “dings” in this car. What it has is full blown dents! I’ve tried to take pics of them but they just don’t show up good in pictures. Also, there is rust in the quarters and fenders but not anything serious.
Hopefully I’ll have the engine out soon and will get it up on jack stands to start on the brakes. I’ll get some pics of the ugly stuff then!

I’m getting close to pulling the engine. Maybe tomorrow. I took some pics of the aforementioned dents, hard to make out in the pics, to me anyway.

Another odd thing about this car is that one key works in every lock. That is to say, the ignition key fits the trunk lock and doors. What’s up with that? I know the door and ignition are typically the same, but the trunk too?

There were fleet locks where one key works in all locks, typically they were the round key like the trunk.

Alan
This one uses the pentastar shaped ignition key. Will a round key even fit in a column style ignition switch?
