Someone learned the passenger side in not reverse thread- broken stud when I got it.

I learned on my '79 T/A that you don't rush things....and this car is much older. I'm being very gentle.

Another thing to check, inspect battery cable by starter. I saw a crack in the insulation, turned out it was all corroded and insulation fell off on my 65

I scored years ago NOS drums but had to search for the spring dampeners.
BTW they are a ***** to install on the drum. Super tight and under a ton of tension to the pont it took a few days for my fingers to grow back. LOL!!

65 Battery cable is one year only in black. 66 and newer went red.

Both my old cables were turquoise, but replaced with red/black respectively.
