I believe you're right... I really wanted to buy that hood bird, but those cars are too far gone to even derby now. The NYB suspension was collapsed on the passenger side... being right out in plain view, I'm surprised no one has stolen that bird, no matter... I'm picking one up tomorrow.

Got what I could, have a tank and sending unit for the Imperial... left too many things I wish I would have grabbed, but the price was very fair. Some pieces I would let go of from this, and the Trim and interior stuff I don't ship home will go to Carlisle... it will be cheap because the Imperial will not be trucking it home.

While I was standing by the rental trying to get an address off of my phone for the place... a guy pulled in, he wasn't the owner... but assured me there was a stack of phone numbers from those who tried to buy them before, and that they were not for sale. At least I had permission to take better pictures than I started off with.

I have stopped there and asked about the trucks there for sale, nothing. He is about 30 min from Altoona and and 1 1/2 from me.

The pleasure is mine... I just kinda wish I was better organized and had more time. Adding in family visits is a real time killer.

Remove it intact (ha ha) and have it scanned for a 3D printer. I can't think of a more appropriate use of these printers.
