1988 Prevost H5-60 Articulated Conversion Bus 2283 - Miscellaneous Buses, Prevost Buses - Buses for Sale
This one is "converted" but its obviously more of a "party bus" than an RV. I am looking for somebody who went all-out motorhome with an articulated bus.
Im gonna hold out til this "Big SOB" (my vanity plate for it) comes outta service .. and REALLY piss off the people at the RV parks 
30 minutes and NO articulated bus RV conversions so i am giving up that search for now.. but did find a cool "pink" or "pastel rose" Sultana conversion I hadn't seen.
Its a "Buffalo" (PD4905). 8-71 DD, 212,000 miles, looks like a lotta "homemade" addons, clean looking interior if a little dated, cool use of orginal seats. $22K or seller says "keep walking".

I love those Flxi's... but that one has an unfortunate end in it's future... Even I am not stupid enough to go for that kind of rust... the guy won't get an offer high enough to recover his cost on the Alcoa's...1954 Flxible visa coach bus project.

Is it just me, but I know a dozen guys like the builder and they are all cool cats. and he just "looks" the part of someone able to and will in fact build something like this. They always have great stories too

OK... I don't hate it... but for one reason only... he has a bulkhead separating him from the big box of CO gas he is hauling.
In reality I may well admire the efforts and creativity involved to build it and the statement that it's his DD helps. I have a deep dislike of air cooled VW stuff, but think he destroyed it's value similarly as if he dumped that bowtie into a Mopar (well, at least Mopar offered engines that would beat the bowtie).
Not his fault really... but too close to the "rat rod" movement for me to fully embrace at this moment. I hate the trailer queen junkpiles the rat guys bring around that are too F'ed up to drive and too unsafe to be street legal.

I worked with an older guy who had a deep love of VW's, he tried to get into Leno's garage for years (more fabricator than tech), but had a criminal record from his youth (auto theft) that killed the deal. I've seen his excitement over restorations, I would have been interested in his view of this panel. I think he may have been less judgemental than me. He'd be in his 70s at least if he's still kicking.
You definitely had views on that one . There is somewhere on this forum an "aircooled" debate .. went surprisingly long.
And in this thread we did a few things on the "campers" which I long ago ruled out for my project in favor of a 'BAB" (Big A** Bus).
The V-Dub campers didn't get much love here .. but they have a cult-llike following. Thousands of pics on 'em -- here's a couple. Gotta be "repowered" IF only 36HP as I dunno how they'd make it as RV's with such anemic mills right?
