Didn’t do to much. Moved some boxes. Trying to make space in the garage to move the New Yorker in next to the Fury
Drove it to work yesterday and today. Has a clunk in the rear that developed on the way home this morning, maybe a shock, happens on bumps. I'll have to take a peak in the next couple of days.
Both have been on for five years or so, but that don't mean squat. The exhaust is tti, and it seems pretty solid from the axle back. I'm just not excited about laying down on the mud, I'm out of big cardboard pieces, maybe have to bring one home tonight...A shock will definitely do that. Both my front ones went through that, until I tightened them again.
Or loose exhaust can make similar sounds.
Sorry to hear that. Priorities though, I get it. Best of luck to him and you!I said goodbye to my two 66 300’s tonight. A young man who is skilled and has the mopar lust burning deep in his chest answered my call for a new caretaker. I needed to downsize and focus on my 70 300 and my 79 300. They went to a good home....

Like the voice in the back of my head grew arms and hand and started posting on FCBO under the name "Ripinator".I think Doba shoulda kept the '66s and sold the other two. . .
Sitting in the 66 yesterday for the last time I almost backed out but the young man who is taking over it’s care will be a better caretaker than I can be. Not having a Dealership to park them on and a full service garage to work in has severely reduced my ability to work on these cars and they deserve a better fate.
What happened? "Not having a delaership. . ." What does that mean?
Lol I guess I should do an official thread announcement. I retired from running a Dealership and went on contract with FCA Canada doing Dealer Development and Marketing. I set my own schedule and which Dealerships I work at. It’s less stress but also doesn’t give me a place to hang my hat or park my projects on a regular basis. Strangely enough I’m working longer hours lately than when I was GMing a store lol.
Dayum! For a minute there, you had me worried. . .
It's all good. Can still get all the goodies I did before and have access to factory pricing on new cars so my FCBO friends can still save some $$$$
