I see nothing wrong with modifying your personal car. Having worked for Chrysler during the years our cars were made I have seen many improvements over the years. My 66 300 now has the 67 dual braking system, 72 front disc brakes, 76 400 engine, Although I have worked hard to keep it looking original, I also want to drive and stop it.

But you did it the right way,
The good factory stuff that WORKS.
And it's not pimped into an embarrassing eyesore.
 
Well I look at this this way, some people customize cars, others customize themselves. I'd rather mess with a car than **** up my body with tattoos and or piercings. Some, well some do both.
